To continue the study of this hotel renovation and update in the heart of Baker Street, London, I created second proposal aiming to expand the client audience for the Middle Eastern and Far East Asian regions; embracing an Arabian mid-century feel. The vision for this project was to infuse the space with opulence and the rich cultural heritage of the Arabian region.
As you step into the reception area and entrance hall, the use of golds, marble, and strategic artificial lighting immediately creates a regal and welcoming atmosphere. The interplay of these elements evokes an Arabian charm, transporting guests to a realm of luxury and indulgence. The high ceilings in the reception area amplify the grandeur, while the carefully chosen gold accents add an air of royalty and sophistication.
The stair case area serves as a focal point, adorned with exquisite Arabian-inspired patterns and textures. The strategic use of artificial lighting further enhances the ambiance, creating an enchanting and mesmerizing visual experience.
Moving on to the hotel rooms, my focus was to design spaces that offer a sense of calm and tranquility, reminiscent of an Arabian oasis. The rooms were curated with a palette of beiges, golds, and greens, evoking the serene beauty of nature and the opulence of the Arabian palaces.
In the en-suite bathrooms, the royal greens take center stage, exuding a sense of luxury and elegance. The choice of black accent bathroom products adds a touch of modernity and sophistication, creating a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary design elements.
Throughout the renovation, the Arabian mid-century feel remained at the heart of the design, with the careful integration of golds, marble, artificial lighting, and a harmonious blend of beiges, golds, and greens. The result is a hotel that offers guests an extraordinary experience, where they can immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage and luxurious ambiance of the Arabian region while enjoying the modern comforts of a world-class hotel.
