I recently had the incredible opportunity to work on a hotel renovation and update in the heart of Baker Street, London. The vision for this project was to infuse a touch of elegance and opulence into the space while embracing a timeless mid-century modern style.

As you step into the reception area, the high ceilings immediately command attention, offering a sense of grandeur and space. To create an ambient and royal feel, I incorporated luxurious gold accents against a backdrop of deep, rich dark blue hues. The dark wood floors add warmth and sophistication to the space, while the iconic Chesterfield sofa in rich brown leather becomes a striking centerpiece, evoking a classic yet contemporary charm.

In the entrance hall, the play of browns and golds effortlessly sets the tone for a luxurious and welcoming experience. The interplay of these colours brings about a cigar lounge feel, exuding an air of sophistication and relaxation.

Moving on to the hotel rooms, my focus was to design spaces that offer comfort and a sense of indulgence to the guests. Natural light was thoughtfully utilized to enhance the ambiance and create a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were adorned with blue and gold accents, adding a touch of regal elegance to the space. The deep blue hues exude tranquillity, while the warm browns and golds infuse a sense of luxury and comfort.

Throughout the renovation, I kept the mid-century modern style at the forefront, blending classic elements with modern touches for a seamless and timeless design. The result is a hotel that exudes sophistication and grandeur while offering guests a truly memorable and luxurious stay in the heart of London's iconic Baker Street.
